TAKAHIRO IGARASHI (五十嵐誉弘）

Taka (Takahiro Igarashi) is an international award winning still life photographer and director based in NYC and Tokyo. Being in the states since 95’, he is fully bilingual and enjoys the differences between the two cultures.

Intrigued by capturing the beauty of the essence, his visuals strike the balance between minimalism and dynamism. Powerful compositions and sophisticated lighting techniques further express the character of an object while emphasizing on simplicity. Rather than creating a scenery with props, he focuses on bringing out the beauty within.

His sense of direction has proven successful among many areas in still life and has led to creating campaigns with some of the most discerning agencies/brands.

Taka values heritage, timelessness and craftsmanship in all aspects of life, as well as in his image making.
